By accessing or using the AI Rapporteur Assistant (the “Service”) provided by DigiTransact AI (“we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

The AI Rapporteur Assistant is an AI-powered platform designed to help rapporteurs, journalists, and event professionals transcribe multi-speaker audio, extract key themes and quotes, generate reports, and produce social media content from event sessions.

3. User Accounts

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Upload content that you do not have the right to use or distribute
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our prior written consent
Upload audio recordings without the consent of the participants where required by law

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to or create through the Service, including audio recordings, transcripts, and reports. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. AI-Generated Content

Reports, summaries, quotes, themes, and social media posts generated by the Service are produced using artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before publication or distribution.

7. Subscription Plans and Billing

The Service offers multiple subscription tiers with varying usage limits. Free accounts receive a one-time allowance of transcription minutes. Paid plans provide monthly allocations that reset on each billing cycle. Overage usage beyond plan limits requires explicit approval and may incur additional charges.

8. Activation Codes

Activation codes may be issued for promotional purposes, partnerships, or special programmes. Codes are non-transferable and subject to their individual terms and expiry dates. We reserve the right to revoke codes that are misused.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime when possible.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DigiTransact AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DigiTransact AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without cause, upon notice. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
